DO YOU KNOW THE MEANING OF LAST BREATH?

The last breath means Colonel Resat Bey, who committed suicide when he could not take Çiğiltepe at the hour he promised to the Commander-in-Chief Mustafa Kemal. The last breath means the first Mehmetçik who ran to Tınaztepe at dawn with artillery fire. The last breath means deciding to march to Izmir on a broken cart in the middle of the offensive. The last breath means the bread carried after the front. It means half a pair of wellies. It means dying on the mountains of Afyon for the flowers on the mountains of Izmir. This homeland was founded with those who did not hesitate for a moment to give their last breath. Those who did not blink an eye. Who never turned their backs. And now we are here until our last breath and we will be here" he said.

But we will continue to walk in your light, with the strength we got from you, in your way, 'Atatürk.
