Sister city is a term expressing the official friendly relationship established through their local governments of cities with the cities of foreign countries. The sister city relationship established with the decision taken by the Municipal Council represents a very important phenomenon in terms of international developments in the globalization process we are in.
With sister city relations we have established as Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, we aim to ensure the exchange of information/experience and cooperation by providing communication and coordination between the relevant units of the two cities in areas of interest to the parties, such as socio-cultural, economic, education, health, trade, tourism, local government services and sports.
We have eighteen sister cities in total, established with this understanding;
Alanya, Türkiye'nin Akdeniz Bölgesi'deki Antalya iline bağlı bir turizm ilçesidir. Şehir merkezine uzaklığı 154 kilometredir. Türkiye'nin güney sahillerinde bulunan Alanya, 1.598,51 km²'lik bir alana sahiptir ve 2015'te nüfusu 291.643 kişidir.
