Golden belt remains in Antalya again

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality wrestler Cengizhan Şimşek became the head wrestler in the 661st Historical Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling. Şimşek won the title of Chief Wrestler of Kırkpnar by defeating Mustafa Taş in the final. After defeating his rival Taş, Şimşek went to the stands and shared his joy with Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek. The 661st Historical Krkpnar Oil Wrestling once again spelled out Antalya, the home of wrestlers, in golden letters. With 150 wrestlers, 12 of them were chief wrestlers, Antalya Metropolitan Municipality made a significant impact in the final.İsmail Balaban, Mustafa Taş, and Cengizhan Şimşek, the top wrestlers for the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, have moved up to the third, second, and golden belt positions, respectively.
Mayor Böcek Didn't Leave Wrestlers Alone
Muhittin Böcek, the mayor of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, who always supports the ancestor sport of wrestling and wrestlers, did not leave the wrestlers in Kırkpnar alone. The wrestlers from Antalya Metropolitan Municipality contributed to successful performances in the all-day competitions. As the new Chief Pehlivan, Cengizhan Şimşek defeated Mustafa Taş in the final after defeating the chief wrestler of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality İsmail Balaban in the semifinal.

Cengizhan Şimşek claimed victory after the last game, which lasted for almost an hour. Şimşek went to the stands as soon as he won the game to celebrate with Muhittin Böcek, Mayor of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality. We appreciate your support and belief in us, he showed so much endeavor upon us. I have the privilege of wearing this golden belt, thanks to God. I extend my greetings to all Antalya residents. Wore the Golden Belt
In the 661st Historical Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling, Turkey's new chief wrestler, Cengizhan Şimşek, wore the golden belt in a ceremony. Şimşek came to the podium wearing a scarf with the words 07 Antalya on it. Mehmet Kasapoğlu, Minister of Youth and Sports, gave Şimşek the golden belt.
