The library is at the service of tens of thousands of registered library members and all visitors who benefit from the library without registration, with its library collection that is developing and growing day by day and is extremely rich in terms of quality and quantity.
The library, which is the favorite of book lovers with its research hall, reading hall and green garden area open for use in all seasons, also has a Child and First Youth section with a qualified and rich collection.
The library serves in the green and quiet environment of the Atatürk Culture Park. The access of visually impaired citizens to the library is provided without any problem with the guide tracks from the main entrance of the park, AKM entrance, to the inside of the library. In addition, with its physical conditions such as wheelchair-friendly entrance, low shelves, barrier-free toilets, and friendly staff who are always ready to support, Doğan Hızlan Library offers services on equal terms for everyone.
The library has carried out dozens of different events and cultural projects since its opening, participated in the international LIFE (Library for Everyone) project operating in our country, and was granted several awards by the project management for its successful work.
In order to benefit from the borrowing service, you must be a member of the library. For member registration, it is sufficient to fill out the registration form. For those under the age of 18, the form must be signed by a parent. The rich e-book collection, which contains the copyrighted works of Turkey's most distinguished publishing houses, is open to all users visiting the library website.
Visitors can come to the library with their smart phones, laptops and tablets and benefit from the free wireless internet service offered in the park where the library is located.
With the GETEM corporate membership, access to the audiobook collection is provided to visually impaired citizens.
In order to find out whether the searched book is available in the library, a catalog inquiry can be made online.
Members can make reservations for the books they search for online, and extend the time for the books they borrow.
Membership and all services are free.
All books to be borrowed and returned are processed at the circulation counter.
If the time extension requests are notified to the personnel while borrowing, a preliminary extension can be made.
For time extension requests not made while borrowing, the personnel can be reached by the phone or the online library user account can be used. The extension period is 7 days for each group.
If the book return date is exceeded for more than 7 days, the user account will be blocked for the number of days that each borrowed book is overdue.

Doğan Hızlan Library has been conducting a book donation campaign since its establishment. Some of the books collected within the scope of the campaign are added to the library's collection. An important part of the donated books meet the book demands sent to the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality from all over Turkey.
As part of the book donation campaign, hundreds of schools and penitentiary libraries have been contributed since 2012. Books delivered to Doğan Hızlan Library are carefully examined, sorted and packaged according to demands. The shipping fee is covered by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and delivered to those in need.
Doğan Hızlan Library is open every day between 09.30 and 18.30, except for public holidays, Sunday and Monday. The loan return counter is closed between 12.30-13.30. Research and reading rooms, garden area and children's section are open to use during working hours.

In addition to cultural events, many educational events are regularly held at the library, appealing to different age groups.
It is possible to participate in the activity by creating an appointment record for reading aloud activities that appeal to the pre-school period.
